This summer, we’re excited to be the Main Stage Sponsors for the inaugural Sunspot Music Festival in Morristown, Indiana! The multi-band outdoor festival features over 40 acts from in and around the mid-west & east America! Acts range from alt-rock to hip-hop and pop.

We spoke with rapper/r&b artist WZRD who will be playing Sunspot Music Fest on June 16th.

 

SPF: What inspired you to play music?
WZRD: My love for music hit like a train out of nowhere. One of my biggest inspirations was my uncle. He made me take music a lot more seriously, and I’ve been loving doing music ever since.

SPF: What’s your favorite part about the Indy music scene?
WZRD: My favorite part about Indy’s music scene is there is a lot of hidden talent waiting to emerge.

 

SPF: What’s your favorite part about your live show?
WZRD: My favorite part about my live show is getting to interact with the crowd and hyping them and having them feed me positive energy back. I just really love being up on stage.

 

SPF: What’s the one thing you hope people take from listening to your music?
WZRD: One thing I want people to take from my music is a good feeling after listening to it. I want people to love living after they listen to a song of mine or at least feel glad they came across one of them.
